Some people know which profession to choose from their earliest days of
childhood, while others make their decision much later in life. My mother
is a teacher, and when I was young, I always wanted to become a teacher.
So… I`m a school teacher and I`m proud
of it.
As a teacher I`ve got my goals and achievements. I want to share them
with you.
1.
an inspiration
I
want to inspire my students to become better every day and it comes from my own
passion. I enjoy engaging and motivating pupils to learn a foreign language
helping them to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of a
different language and culture.
2.
lifelong learning or continuous professional development
Teachers are expected to develop professionally
throughout their career, due to constant changes in teachers’ everyday contexts
and changing policies and innovations in the field of education. As a teacher,
it is essential to be constantly updated with knowledge and information. So I
need to use different teaching methods to teach to the students.
3. self-improvement
I must give my best every day and that helps me
to grow, both professionally and personally.
4. responsibility
The job of a school teacher comes with a lot of responsibility.
It is the responsibility of me to impart correct knowledge and information to
the children as they trust me fully. Their thinking will take the shape on the
basis of the teachings imparted to them.
5. to develop good relationships with students
and colleagues
I want to
be a part of a job that doesn’t feel like a job. Where every day, no matter how
I am feeling, I have students that are happy to see me and love that I am
there. I want to have colleagues who inspire me every day to be a better
teacher.
6. frankness
I want to be a mentor for those who need it, a
shoulder to cry on when no one else will listen, or a much needed positive
authority figure to help guide the way.
7. to develop trusting relationships with
parents
I want to come alongside parents every day
knowing they trust me with their most precious and valuable gift.
I am proud to be a part of the
profession that creates all other professions. Staying positive as a teacher
can be an uphill battle some days. It can feel like everyone's objective is to
make teaching harder than it already is. Keep in mind what inspired you to
begin with, and remember the reasons you chose to take on this daunting,
wonderful job.
The children inspire
me, challenge me, make me laugh and I couldn’t think of a better career for me.
